The B-17 Fortress is the ultimate top-mount race deck. With a 2.5 degree wedge nose, and Diamond Taper concave, you get a super comfy spoon to bury your front foot into. This year we have also added a W in the back half of the deck that combines with the spooned gas pedals at the cut out to make a sweet pocket for toesides, and for those that have a long tuck. The B-17 Fortress corners like a dream, and with the right set up, is a total traction monster.
The Five Mile B-17 Fortress also gained high recognition when Ryan Heffernan took first place in the Juniors Division at the Maryhill Festival of Speed in 2010. Five Mile riders Rain Daley and Cody Shea have also religiously competed in major downhill races all over North America on the Fortress, and it has served anyone who takes it above 40 mph exceptionally well.
